WOD as RX'd in 29:30...7 rounds starts getting rough. Had to break the shoulder press down to 3x7reps in the last 3 rounds.

tonight will do the CFE tabata bike...ordered a trainer for father's day, so will be looking forward to more effective CFE bike workouts in the future.

I swear TJ...when I get back out there in November you're gonna be more buff than I am.  We will need to go dancing so everyone can point at our outrageously awesome bods!! 

I miss you CFers...but I guess for now I'm on a two-week hiatus...one week to prep for IM, and one week to do absolutely NOTHING after IM.  But rest assured...

I'LL BE BAHHCK.  And I'll be very anxious to start getting hardcore again.

If you want to search around for affiliates in your area check out the affiliate page here http://www.crossfit.com/cf-affiliates/on the left sdie they have every affiliate listed by state. Looks like Florida has a ton (I'm not up to date on my Florida geography though so I don't know what is northern Florida).

As for my workouts I've been slacking off again a little bit this week as I am kind of stressed out and having some scheduling conflicts with trying to find a new place to live. I got a new job that I am currently commuting about 35-40 miles each way every day so I figured it was time to move. So I didn't renew my current lease and started looking for new places with 2 friends. In any case we hadn't been very fast with our search and the places we are looking are super competative to get so we kept missing out on all the places we wanted, now my lease is up on Wednesday and I don't have a place so I'm starting to freak out a bit. I really don't want to be homeless!!!! Erg, eh, oh well, one of the things I have kind of learned in my life is that when push comes to shove no matter what I always find a way to make things work out. Hopefully I won't break my streak now!

As for my Fran time, I actually don't think I'm in quite as good a shape as I was when I did my 3:24 time, but I have the butterfly pull-ups down pretty well now and I think that shaved some time off for me. I really want to get a little stronger on my thrusters, if I can just get a little stronger I think I can go sub 3.

25 frog leg sit ups with the support "hump" under my lower back (what is that support thing called?)



abmats are the standard for CF.

My morning CF workout was a heavy day. Did 3x5 of back squats and 1x5 deadlift. Did 272lbs on the back squat and 292lbs on the deadlift (was my 5 rep PR on the DL).

Mainsite WOD as Rx'd: 20 min max rounds 10rep 65# thruster/10 rep pullup. 10 rounds completed! Paced well throughout the whole workout, but had to break down the sets of pullups during the 8th set.

Sorry Zilla, here's what I did last night.  My legs are killing me.  My run tonight should be a blast.

CrossFit total: 565

Backsquat - 205 (Weak I know. Chicken legs!)
Shoulder Press - 135
Deadlift - 225 (Chicken legs!)

Then WOD" 65lb thruster for 10 reps then 10 pullups max rounds in 20 minutes. Finished 6 rounds.
