Yeah, the weather was really gross today.  I rode yesterday and it was so cold.  I was not looking forward to it again.

Hope you feel better. Riding long in the cold and damp can make you feel icky besides your as of yet un-named illness.

barqhead - 2008-05-11 10:17 PM I finished my race report. The age group stats went online tonight. I did get second in my age group and one of my friends picked up my award and will bring to werk tomorrow. That was really cool since I couldn't stay for awards because of the dance recital.

That's great!  Congratulations!!!

Did you finish your really long swim workout?

i did indeed

3,300 yds

Whoa! That's one longggggg swim workout!

(Makes up for that cute little 500 yarder that you did awhile back. LOL)

3300 yards is a SERIOUS swim workout.

In what way is your knee acting up? Knnes are very difficul things... they need much love!

Um, is that like cheesecake love?

I'm trying to find a way to describe the knee issues for you, but it's not easy. Hm, it's the lower part of the knee. Kind of under the kneecap. And a little towards the outside of the knee.

I've had pain there before, if my shoes are getting worn down. But I tried changing shoes, and it didn't help. Maybe I've been twisting it when I walk/run. I can try putting one of those support bandages on, to see if that helps. (It would keep it straight, rather than twisting towards the side.)

True.  I had a lot of ground to make up though from all of the time I mostly only posted in COJ and Tri Talk.

Oh Dee... how is your ITB? Is it tight? If it is it will be pulling your knee cap out of alignment...

And being female we are at a disadvantage with knees from the very beginning...

Ice it and remember with knees something niggly can come a long or even come and go and very very slowly start to get a little more annoying... if you dont get it sorted you could end up with the long term issue... dont let it come to that!

Well gee. On the version that *I* made, Cat is highlighted in purple, and I'm in pink. But on the BT version, it lumped us together. :P

Cool! I've dropped Jim and I can drop bear soon at this rate. HA!

Oh, I got my first pedicure yesterday. My toes have been transformed from "Vomit inducing" to merely "Gag Me with a spoon" methinks:

Umm no I still cant really look at that.... gives me the creeps!

Maybe you should have painted them? Then I couldnt see the black bits nad that would make me much less uncomfortable...

Do you have ladybugs in Oz?

Yup and in NZ too - I think they are one of those 'western' things... probably got to NZ and Aus with imports from the UK..

Just a guess though!
