Ack Headless Horsies... I ran 2.5 miles today to/from preschool dropoff but the last 0.75 was walk/jog and I'm disappointed a "let" myself walk.  Argh.  the prior 0.65 split FELT bad so I excused myself as having a bad morning and walk/jogged the remainder (though I did go a longer way home, didn't go the shortest route(0.45)).  Then I get home and enter my numbers and the 0.65 split was not bad at all...  Argh.

I had a nice straight 2.25 run on Saturday and was ready for another great run but it just wasn't there.  My mental game needs some strengthening!

Looks like spreadsheets are not up yet, but for you self-professed folks with OCD, I put up an 'unoficial' spreadsheet for the Headless Horsemen.

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pfYL7DR_dx-AhYVQpi9SWew&hl=en

Click on the link.  To log in, use the following:

Click on the Headless Horsemen 'unofficial' spreadsheet.  We can record numbers in here, then just change the name of the spreadsheet if it's not too far from the spreadsheet Cat has for us (this is a copy of the spreadsheet she used last year).

Thanks, Sal. I entered my few, but proud miles

Oh, and btw...recording the numbers is CUMMULATIVE, NOT WEEKLY...

So, for the end of week 1, you may have 5 miles total, and the end of week 2 you might have 10 miles total.

(not 5 miles one week, 5 miles the next...just the way the they set the spreadsheets up last year)

Since the month started on a Wednesday, what are the begin and end dates for each week? We have alomst five weeks this month and the spreadsheet only has four. I can do the math differently than the math I do for my workout weeks but I just need to know the start and end dates for each week.

Does anyone know?

Good point.  I'll set it up for a 5-week schedule.  Last year we ended the week on Sunday.

No problem.  We can always have the team captain collect numbers on Sunday and enter them in for the folks who are having trouble accessing the spreadsheet.

Uh...who's our team captain?

Rock on Horsemen...

Hi team! Way to go on getting your own team spreadsheet set up! THANK YOU!

Im happy to use what you have got set up but might make a few changes... this means you will NOT have to re-log anything... is that cool with you guys?

It doesn't matter how often we log stuff does it? Or do you prefer at least once a week?

I will do a challenge update next week but will give 24 hours notice so my only advice is if you want your team to get credit at that point you will need to be up to date!

Thanks.  I'm feeling better about it now, though still annoyed.  I wish my DD biked a little faster so I could really run with her on the bike and not walk/jog.  Boy, I'm complain'n today!

I like that idea. Same rule as "the one who smelt it dealt it."

Besides, as team captain you get an extra smiley per day.

Since my 3 year old is home with me today (got sick at school so he can't go back till Weds), I got up earlier than normal and got 5 miles in before Masters swim at 5:30.

That hurt.

How's your commitment to the Headless Horseman team today?

I ran 6.5 miles today. Not a big run week for me. I'm racing on Saturday. An olympic distance (1500m/28 mile/10K) triathlon, last one of the season.
