Artemis - 2008-12-14 4:54 PM My eBay auction ended up selling for $32 more than the Buy It Now price I listed. I almost feel bad about that.
Heh, heh. Suckers Don't feel bad. They paid it willingly.

I'm also checking out my Alton Brown cookbook.  He always has good advice.

I have a cast iron grill pan that I like to use for pork chops and steak, so I'll probably use that to sear it on the outside, then reduce heat to cook it enough.

Honestly, I haven't really figured that out.

I found a recipe for a paste made out of garlic, mint, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and mustard that sounds like a really good match for the lamb.  Think I'm going to use that and then grill it on the stove.

What do you think, Cat?

LOL.  It was the British guy at the farmer's market who convinced me that I should try the lamb in the first place and he recommended mint sauce too.

I hate when that happens.  Some mornings I can do without coffee, but not on Mondays.  I also hate when they don't have any coffee blends tht I like.

Well I cant be too picky.. the coffee shops here are both pretty average but drinkable which is good...

Its the routing for me I think... the leaving the desk, talking to the girls in the shop, getting the coffee... like a 'mini break'. I used to get one on the way in but Ive found i can usually get a good hour in and then go up when its less busy and it makes the morning go MUCH faster!

I feel super yucky, but I am enjoying life anyway.  Dave spent the night (now don't go making any assumptions, he was in the living room next to the gas fireplace...and I wasn't) and I took him to the airport this morning.  Despite the prediction of incredibly terrible road conditions(Lots of ice) we arrived early and chatted for an hour and a half.

I then ran a couple of errands, came home, and did a little cleaning.

Now I am going to take a much needed nap.

Gels are not food.  I always feel icky by the end of the day if I've only had sports food.
