This is just wrong on all levels  I wear gloves. Only for training though. I don't wear them racing. Winter time only here! Always, All the time. I have too many artheritis, wrist and shoulder issues. If there were not padded gloves, I could not ride. I've een that way since I first started riding (before melindy was born). Allowable and understandable. I used to - just never put them back on this year (and probably most of last) and did the whole tour without them also I like not wearing them. I feel I have more control. and I can ALWAYS use more control. |

I was riding my normal trail and all proud of clearing some obstacles that I have had to walk before then I come to a downhill section and tell myself well it looks more washed out so take it easy. Next thing I know I am laughing at myself and looking at my bike about 5 feet in back of me. Good thing I knew I was most likely going to crash - it made it more fun!!! I flinched while reading this. |

It's a 5 year gig now. I don't plan on being here that long but at least I don't have to worry about my contract expiring while I'm looking for something else. I go in on Monday afternoon to do all the new hire paperwork. We didn't discuss salary but I'll have benefits again, which is a PLUS! |

It's good knowing the new contract has already been awarded. I always get nervous when the contract is up. Last December I didn't know until the 29th that my contract that expired on the 31st was renewed. Christmas shopping was no fun last year because I didn't know if I'd have a job after the holidays. |
