I love the idea of a ND/SEC National Championship game.

I'm Irish....but I can't wait for ND to get their arse handed to them. Laughing

Even I can't come up with a reason to keep ND out of the title game. That said, I don't know if they would be favored against more than 1, maybe 2 teams in the top 10.

Bama/Georgia 38, ND 10

Wow...according to the announcer at the half, Ohio St. is the team of the day.

I paraphrase:

"While they don't look like a national championship team this year, they have to be looking forward to next year. The Big 10 is absolutely terrible and they play nobody but a coachless Cal and the Franklin County Powderpuff team in the pre season, so their chances look good for a BCS national championship."

Congratulations BCS, this is what you have turned college football into. Play nobody all year and reap the benefits.

Matt, sorry my beloved Buckeyes give you such heartburn! I'll bet you liked it much better when they were 6-7 under Fickell! Urban is now 20-2 against rivals. The future looks bright thru my scarlet and grey glasses! Go Bucks!

Really don't care who wins the SEC championship, but look forward to watching. Why is everyone so quick to crown Bama? Granted, their defense has only given up more than 14 pts in two games. But besides LSU and an average Michigan team, who did they beat? With that said, UGA didn't play much of a schedule either with their 2nd best victory against Ga. Tech? Wow, and people give the Big 10 Sh** about scheduling.

Seems people have said that same line now before several NC games. Look how it has turned out.

I was driving to OK city on the night before Ok faced FL in the NC. Their fans were saying "we're pretty darn good down here in Florida!"

Next night, they got thumped.

Go ahead and question the SEC. But until you have a data point, you're just finding excuses.

Yeah people can say all they want about the SEC being overhyped etc, but its a little difficult to argue against 6 straight national championships.

I HATE ND, but I think this might be the year that the SEC's run stops.  And that makes me a little bit happy.

I did find it a bit funny though that Florida has a realistic chance (if not expectation) of going to a BCS bowl over the loser of the SEC Champ game.  AND that team could be Alabama..... who ironically got into the national championship game that very same way last year........

I believe the most funny part is hearing Saban complain about it.

But Florida didn't even win their division...oh wait.
