Although X2 had tons of issues, I did want kids (commenting on your earlier comment) after years of thinking that I did NOT want them. Just took a while to get there... I was 38 when my son was born, 40 when my daughter got here... Man, it's not even so much that I want a serious stable relationship, I just want to find someone who acts like they occasionally want to be around me. That's all. And I can't do quick hookup type "relationships" because that's just not me, and my personality is a bit "out there" for Iowa so it takes me a while to connect with people. I know people see me as cold and distant until they really get to know me, so if you don't take the time to realize that maybe I really just don't have anything to say and I don't walk around with a smile on my face all day I'm not unhappy. That just apparently doesn't make sense to some people. |
