So, Tony.... watched the clip last night.

You handled the anchor very well when she basically asked the same question twice.

Where were you looking during the interview... a monitor or something?

Scout7 - 2007-09-26 8:06 AM Morning, all.

Back in the office, finally. I think the training was starting to get to me. Going all twitchy and stuff.

Are you not running or not logging?

Combo of the two, actually.  Moving and training and dealing with other stuff has left me horribly strapped for time the last week or so.

Thanks. Yeah she's brand new. She was supposed to take the hit elsewhere but didn't go there for some reason, then my boss got angry at me for not mentioning the whole reason I was supposed to be on.

Right below the camera is a monitor that I can see. Then I taped some notes in BIG letters right below the monitor, so you can tell I'm looking a little lower than I should be when I was trying to read off the notes. Totally cheating ...

As long as I LOOKED good -- that's all that matters.

Yes, you did look good.

Oh... and the clip worked on the first try on my computer at home.

So far I've been at work for about two hours. In that time I've:

-Interview a source
-Written a story
-Ate some fruit
-Ate a piece of bread with peanut butter
-Ate an everything bagel with cream cheese

All I do anymore is eat! I swear I live life meal to meal. My stomach controls my life!

I'm trying to decide which is better --

The version of `Comfortably Numb' featuring Van Morrison or
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dc45zHdfRg

The version of `Run Like Hell' from The Delicate Sound of Thunder.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMbQ4sAPR04

They're both so good, it's hard to decide.

Yah...well...post something interesting. =) Unless you want me to emotionally barf all over the thread...=)

But that would be the norm.......

Sorry, don't mind me.  I've been generally grumpy of late.  More so than usual, even.

How so?

I'm interested, and often amused, by others' impressions of me.  I find the correlation to a heartless being an interesting one.

It's OK Scout ... people say I'm heartless too because I don't really like people that much. In reality I have a big heart for those I actually care about.

You're just straight with people, and by not pulling punches people think you're a mean person when in reality you're just real. And that's cool. I like it when people tell me how the f*** they really feel, and to HTFU sometimes.

Well...I wouldn't say your posts here often portray you as a sensitive, caring, fuzzy kinda guy.  That's why I like you.  =

He 'snerks'... that some emotion, right??!!
