The sky is still gray and the radar shows some RAIN that may actually make it over the mountain. Just a reminder; NEVER MESS WITH GHOULIE GIRLS!!!! Thank you Ladies! |

With all of the road construction going on around here I had to take the interstate because we were running late. My husband was behind me on his bike. At one section where it narrows down to one lane I got cut-off by an ambulance. It didn't have lights or sirens on, it was just going back to where it came from. My husband said there was a car behind the ambulance that tried to come around, too. He said he thought the car was going to take me out. I saw the ambulance, never saw the car. I was paying attention to the road, it was pretty torn up. I was ready for the ambulance, I may have been in trouble with the car. I try to stay off of the interstate at all costs. Be safe on your motorcycle!!! We don't have to wear helmets in PA. I DO!!! Helmet, jacket, gloves, long pants, boots! I'm glad that you were okay. I avoid interstates as much as possible. Back roads are the roads for me. My hubby grew up in CA where you did not have to wear a helmet, but he did and has always insisted that we are dressed for protection. When we ride with others, they all have to wait for us to suit up, but you know what? I don't care. Let them wait. I want as much protection as I can possibly get. Thus, when it is the dead of summer, I'm really not on my motorcycle much, because it is too hot. Keep staying safe. BOTH of you be safe. Drivers are scary business. Ann, your husband probably had to change his drawers after watching that. |
