Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Bike it to the MAX in June Ghoulies!!! I just thought I'd mix it up a bit this morning. My daughter's birthday is Saturday, we just finished up birthday shopping last night. NEW BIKE HELMET! Soccer shin guards, a soccer ball, tie-dyed soccer socks. That's what she asked for. She is also going to start piano lessons soon. We don't have a piano but I did get her a 61 key keyboard. My friend, who is going to be giving her the lessons, said that would be fine for her to start with until we make sure she's going to stick with it. I'm not sure what we'll if she does. |

I would be a Systems Administrator, fine... no big deal, right? The systems I would administer/install/maintain are installed on military planes. I would get to do test flights, travel some, have a flexible schedule. Lots of other cool stuff that she told me that I forget right now. I'm going down Thursday afternoon to take a tour and meet the people I might be working with! I HOPE I GET THIS JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds awesome Anne. Keeping fingers and everything else crossed for you. |

Happy early birthday to your daughter! X2, What's going on for celebrating the event She has been seeing commercials for iHop and in the commercial they have strawberry pancakes. She asked me if I could take her there sometime. The closest one is in Frederick, MD, about an hour or so away from here. I told her I would take her to iHop for her birthday, so that's where we are going. My sister and her family are going to meet us there. We're having a picnic Saturday evening then, you are all invited. We will set off some fireworks in the driveway, she asked if we could. Then we'll go down the road to the neighbors and sit on their porch and watch fireworks in every direction for hours. She will be 7, she is growing up fast. I remember sending a friend of mine out to find a preemie outfit to bring her home from the hospital in. She wasn't premature, she was born weight 7lbs, she dropped to 5 by the time we brought her home. We had to take her to the pediatricians every day the first week to have her weighed. She had an upper GI done when she was a week old. She had reflux. She's outgrown it, now she eats all the time, and she never stops moving. Oh the memories. |

Now she is riding a PURPLE bike and going FAST!!!! FWIW, I absolutely adored the strawberry pancakes at IHOP when I was seven. Though, I never could eat them all. I did eat all the strawberries. |

MY DH would LOVE to help set off fireworks ANYWHERE! We will just have the little ones that are available in PA. I have gone down to WV before and bought the big ones. When we go down and watch them on the porch, not all of the ones we see are legal. We also have a neighbor that lives in a huge house up on a hill. They pay a professional to come set fireworks off. We can see those from our front yard. When my daughter was 3 we were down in NC at the beach over the 4th of July. We had her birthday party down there since most of my husbands family goes. We sat out on the beach and watched the fireworks. My daughter thought they were for her since it was her birthday. She was disappointed the next year when we weren't at the beach for her fireworks. |

That is cute! The town we live in has a pretty decent show on the 4h. A resort at the other end of the lake has one too. Sometimes they do them on different days so we sit on the porch and watch the town ones. (Directly across from us) then take a boat to watch the other ones. We are boatless now and they are on the same day (Sunday if you want to come down. We'll tell your daughter they are for her). So we will be on the porch this year with the terrified dog on drugs. |
