Nash - I couldn't agree with you more. I'm looking forward to meeting you too brother.I read an article in Triathlon magazine (???) about the support crew people "need" to complete an Ironman: Family, PT, Chiro, doctor, etc. 100% true.Getting accupuncture on hip today after chiropractor.

Count me in for the BT meetup.

Missery loves company and for those of you suffering from an injury I will keep you company.  I have had lower back pain since the middle of July.  My longest run this month has been 10.  I don't think I will get to the 18 listed on my schedule for Sunday.  Arrrrrg.  A pain in my ear cut my swim yesterday to 12 minutes.  Anyone have any good ideas for swimmer's ear??  I can't keep out of the water for too long.  Ever feel like you just can't win

Abrezo- The practice swim starts at the finish line. You might be able to go to the start on foot/car/etc. to see if the bouys are set to see the turn from upriver to down, but it's not part of the practice swim.

384 for me! Gotta get my head focused on the NYC Tri this weekend. Will be a good test of my speedfill hydration ... although no filling it up on the fly. That will have to wait until the Gran Fondo on the 14th. Time to go ride my horse.... I think he's forgotten who I am :-)

Sam, I really enjoyed this one.  Probably because I've been struggling with the swim due to my herniated disc as you've been struggling with your run.  I hate to use the term "it is what it is" as well, but, at this point, I feel like it is just that.  I'd much rather be in your shoes I will admit because I have to get out of the swim in order to do the rest.  My biggest fear right now is not being able to get out of the swim.  That will be what my dreams/nightmares are about. ha ha ha
