Yeah...can't do BSLT next year.  I wanna give NO 70.3 a shot instead... see we can play switch-a-roo!  Longhorn!  I would love to!  That would be sooo cool.  My only hesitation would be it's closeness (time wise) to IMFL.  The plan is to continue to do that race year after year.  I could be persuaded to do IMAZ 2010 which puts a bigger gap between Longhorn and IM.  hmmmm.

Either way... Kelli ~ if you, Todd, & Nicole either collectively or individually decide to do a race that close to us... This rah-rah-ree - kick 'em in the knee, cheer doood will be there!

Well, I'm planning IMFL2010- so that's early November.

If we all want to do a half together, can we pick one that will work with that training schedule?

I'll do whatever you all tell me.

I posted this on another thread... but I guess I need to share here too    It goes really well with the previously posted Fajitas...  Lupe's Margaritas....  Something for the July 4th Celebration!

Margarita Recipe

(servings 4)

1 cup Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice (approx. 6 limes)
["Real Lime" in the glass bottle works well too!]
1/3 cup Sugar
2 cups Water
5 oz. White/clear Tequila (doesn't have to be premium Tequila)
5 oz. Premium Triple Sec

Combine fresh lime juice with sugar and water and mix until sugar has dissolved.  Add Tequila and Triple Sec mix well. Place 1 cup of ice & 10 oz of mix in shaker and shake well.  Rim glass with lime juice and dip in margarita salt.  Fill glasses with ice then pour margarita over ice and enjoy!

I am saying hells yeah we should have an Evondo group 70.3 and beer fest. (Holy shite I just said that)

Can I put in a Vote for the 70.3 Florida on 5-16-10? I might be able to swing that better with the wife as I have family to visit there.

Of course Longhorn would be cool but I can understand on the INTIMDATORS plans.

I think we should have everyone plan on Longhorn 70.3 next year, make it the official evondo group race Wetsuit legal, cooler weather, semi-hilly course, arena finish, post race beer what more can you ask for?

Without a doubt, you could definitely do it Betsy!!!  And I'm not just saying that.  I'm a firm believer that as long as you put in the time and the training anyone can do a 70.3, 140.6, marathon, etc....  If you had asked me a year ago if I'd be training for a 70.3 right now I'd tell you you're crazy!  I started teching myself how to swim properly last April...it took me over 2 months to get comfortable putting my face in the damn water.
