Family/life/work and Fatigue have all lead to Tim becoming one Lazy-A$$ triathlete the Last 6 days (only 2 trained). I'm outing myself so I'll have this bold post to motivate me to get out of bed Tuesday AM and get back to training/biking! Let's stay focused for week 3 Team..you guys are all doing awesome!

9.45 on the trainer.  Not a lot, but every little bit helps.

Happy St Patty's Day!! I am close to completing my goal, which is good because I leave town at the end of this week and will be without bike access.  Here's to a strong week 3 and I hope to come back home to find out we won!! :-)

Off to drink some green beer and not ride my bike.

Recovery week for me, but I've decided that part of my recovery will be 45 minutes on the trainer every day except Thursday.  Should knock my challenge amounts down significantly.

And bike fitness definitely translates to run fitness.  I started ramping up my run mileage last week in prep for a June half mary, and I noted that I was running at lower HR for similar pace, with minimal run base over the past couple of months.  It works!

I found that biking also helps my knees stay fit during the run.

Another 45 minutes down today. Our instructor cut it 15 minutes short cause 3/4 of the class had to go to work. But I'm still on target. Bike commute in the cold and dark tomorrow.

Things are looking up - I'm feeling better (mostly) and my masters thesis is almost done....SO I believe I'll be back on the bike again tomorrow (albeit on the trainer, thanks to cold crappy weather)!

Did 41 minutes (12 miles) on trainer today. Not feeling great, but got that much of it done. Need to save strength for swim tonight as pool is closed for 10 days after this. Promise I will catch up on biking! I promise!

30 miles scheduled for this weekend. Hope everyone else is going to have a great weekend. Don't torture those Chocolate Peeps too much. It disturbes the kids.

I did 70 minutes on the trainer (it's not really spring here yet, either) on Wednesday and another 30 this morning, so I'm just over 70% of the way to my goal.

Let's go chocolate peep disease!!

I spent 107 minutes on my trainer this am- so I'm at 80% total. Another ride tomorrow, (I think a long one but I'm not sure yet) and a few this week, and I'll be done. Does anyone know where we are in the standings?

 Keep it up, Peep Haters!
