Morning X Men! Wow it took me a while to catch up with all the posts.

I VOTE No for naked swimming at the Y! You will get thrown out for sure and then you will have to find another place to swim naked!!!

Welcome to our new X Men!

I got a 8 mile run in this am before it began to rain too hard( penalty run for not running yesterday!). Now off to the pool...I have plenty of suits... so I am safe at the Y Tommorow and Sun are bike days...need to log some miles!

I vote no on the naked swim too.

Nice job on the run!  My longest since Hyannis has been 6 miles.  Oh boy.

I am taking advantage of the nice weather this weekend and am logging some mile on my bike too!   Supposed to ride for two hours tomorrow BUT, gonna push it off to Sunday and do a group ride with some CT BT peeps.  I'm not sure how far I'll go tomorrow.  I guess I could always swap Sat and Sun training days.  Huh.  Or just ignore the plan and ride a lot both days.  Hmmmmmm.

the club i swim at downtown milwaukee has separate mens and womens pools... and up until about 4 or 5 years ago...  all the guys would swim naked...  and most of the guys were really old retired guys...  i didnt swim back then... thankfully...  but not a pretty sight...  it also has a lunch buffet on the side of the pool... so all the guys would be sitting there and eating naked as well... not cool when your getting food and some naked dude is leaning over the buffet to grab something and you have to ask him to kindly remove himself from the sprouts...  true story... i skipped the sprouts that day...!!!

Well, my hammy behaved during my slow run.  I was sooooo bored on the treadmill.  I forgot my ipod and I really wanted to go faster.  It was HOT in the gym today too and stoopid me wore pants.  UGH.  Oh well, I am just glad my leg was nice to me!

I hit the pool after my run.  I was gonna do tomorrow's swim today (2300 meters) but I wasn't feeling it.  My shoulder was yelling at me cause it was tired from yesterday's 3200 meter swim.  So, I jumped out after 1100.  Good enough!

That is dreadful!  Naked old dudes.

A buffet on the side of the pool?  That is interesting.  My pool is across the street from a bowling alley that has a grease pit in it.  In the summer when the doors are open, you can smell the greasy food while swimming.  Not condusive to a good swim!

and a tad bit gross.

and made me wish, my Y had a buffet.  alls we have are vending machines and a machine that makes HORRIBLE coffee, that....

and thieving women who take bathing suits.

turns out the Aquatics Director at the Y [a friend of mine] even had her suit stolen, same brand TYR.

so we have a TYR BATHING SUIT STEALING GRODY GIRL ON THE LOOSE AT THE R.E.S. YMCA.

alrighty.  all this pad posting silliness aside....

happy to report that i did NOT swim naked and therefore did NOT get thrown out of the Y.

i did however fully attired in my trisuit bang out a very nice 48 min/1800 yd swim today.  i felt GREAT in the water.  just seemed like a good solid steady workout today.  just like my ride yesturday.

im just feeling like im in a really good place w my first tri (albeit mini) just a few short weeks away.

as for the rest of you.

WOW.  mission accomplished today for sure!

all that running, swimming, circuit training (and eating w your lovely wife)

way to go X-MEN, SUPER HEROES EXTRAORDINAIRES.
