Ok, I think it's singe digits out there -- haven't been brave enough to go out and check the thermometer.  Moose (my dawg) and I are going for a run -- we'll see how long we last.  I forgot how tough it is to train for a spring marathon!!!

wgraves7582 - 2009-12-02 9:37 AM Winter looks like it is finally arriving Friday.  Going to be in the 50's today so no points possible but this weekend should be a good start to catching up - just have to wait for Wisconsin and Colorado to have their January thaws Cool

I hope our weather gives you a chance to catch up -- I can't take this all winter long!  It was 11* and snowing this morning and the trails haven't completely melted from our previous snow.  If it weren't for this challenge I would have gone back to bed

Same here, -10 or so today in Calgary. Colder this weekend. Just so long as I don't wimp out of my long runs......

Well........I went for a ride and FROZE my tail off. When I got home I checked the temp to rack up my crappage......and was shocked to discover that my FREEZING ride did not even qualify! I think Environment Canada has a screw loose. Twas ccccold. I know cold when I feel it. Oh well......still beats a drainer ride!

It's so cold here my car won't start   How many more months of winter are there?  Oh yeah, winter hasn't technically even started yet....

Good thing this isn't a Get-In-The-Pool-When-It's-Cold-Out challenge -- I'm not very motivated for that.

Time to ride to work right? - If I remember correctly you live pretty close to work - come on get the bike warmed up and hit the trail!!!

It's the ride home in the dark downhill in singe digit temps that would really bite -- as in frostbite!  I'm not as tough as you Bill!!  but I will keep it in mind

We have several days of near zero temps forecast. Some wind too. Hopefully some good points the next couple of days.

Just over 2 hr run in 10* w/ light snow.   A visor made all the difference today and I got to wear my new gaters

Ninja Runner!  Moose is unimpressed.

well since we are posting pictures, had my picture taken on Friday running home by a guy from the Calgary Sun. Get to work today, that's right, front page.

That being said, I think I met my match yesterday, -20ish, 50 km winds, that is too cold.

Wow, that weather looks nasty -- and no facemask!  Very cool picture.

I think I'll be drawing the line @ 0* -- I like to be comfortable
