Good to see everybody still doing well.  I am up for a run challange.  It will be inside, but still need it.  I am going to get in 5-20 min runs.  I did nothing yesterday, so I will start today.  2 of these will be a brick- one with swim, one with bike.

Did 4.5 mile run during the blizzard of 2010. Only took 4 minutes longer than usual. It was awesome out there. Very peaceful, serene, and beautiful.

Great run.  I was going to run during my daughters practice, but they moved it back 45 minutes and it will be ddark before I even start running. I usually don't mind running in the dark, but I don't really know the area, so I will have to ride when I get home. I need to do something.

The more I put off this running, the longer I will have run for each run workout

Did you say we each need to run 100 miles?????

OK, we are more than halfway through the week. How are you guys doing on the run challenge? You all have been very quiet lately. Are you still here?

I will run if it kills me today...

9 miles in, its so cold and so much snow here so I did 4 on the treadmill this morning, short recruit run this afternoon and a long run scheduled for Sat or Sun so I should make my 20. I will not make 100 though.

Very excited - I will be doing some great training later this week and next week in Arizona. Luckily there is a Lifetime fitness 15 minutes from where we are staying (my mom's)

Long run this weekend about 4 weeks out from my half marathon and its been about 8 years since I did the one and only one I have done. Sorta looking forward to it but I do wish I was running faster I had hoped for sub 2 hours but it is not looking good. I will not be beating myself up though as the only A race I have this year will be my 1/2 IM in Sept, I have to keep reminding myself of that though.

Wasn't feeling good yesterday. But I got in a ride today.

I was a little short of the 20 miles of running last week. I will try again this week

I went for a 5 mile run after work. I am going in tomorrow to get Hydrostaic body fat tested (Under water). It is supposed to be the most accurate test for body fat. I am also getting a metabolic rate test done as well. This is meausring exactly how many calorie I burn in a resting state. I should be able to figure out how many calories I burn in a day based on that.

I am excited, I am hoping to be on the right track as far as weightloss goes, now

Wish me luck

12.5 today last long run before the half. Ran on the blue ridge parkway which was really pretty but a lot of hills about 2000 feet of elevation gains. I was going to run 14 but I just bonked and was having some bad foot pain so I thought better of it and walked 2.5 to the house. Longest run I have done in 8 years.

Good job guys. We spent the weekend doing soccer stuff. My daughter's team made it to the round of 16, so it will be another weekend away from home. Either way, we will be done with soccer in 2 weeks... then my son't baseball starts...sigh...

How are you guys doing with nutrition or gear.

You guys don't have many questions.

Beat out the last of the Arizona Desert rains with a 4 miler that included a peak ascent on trails from 2500 ft to 3200 ft.

Trust me - questions will be coming soon once the training kicks up hard during March.
