I figure there's no way you'll be able to stay out of trouble! Ghoulies are Ghoulies, after all... Well... (blushing).. sad to say I am probably going to let the Ghoulies down. I plan yard work, making pickles, possibly getting the kayak in the water, and getting ready for our next weeks camping trip. Okay, realistically we will be watching fireworks on the porch here Sunday night. Folks tend to turn up here because we are so close to the action, have a screened porch (no bugs) and the bathroom is clean. There may be libations involved. Hey, trouble or now it sounds like a great weekend to me! Probably no libations here but I'm not gonna hold myself to that |

It is annoying, but I figure that as long as noone's getting confrontational then I just do my best to ignore people like that. It's not worth ruining what should be a nice time with my family, so I don't let it. |

My husband wears his kilt and my step daughter (you are hearing this right) plays the bag-pipes. They used to have a mariachi band and they would play together. Everyone has a grand time. Oh, and we can walk there so the margaritas flow! |

Somewhere in the constitution/ early laws wearing a flag is illegal, not to mention disrespectful...as well as using in many other forms. I have seen flag tarps...yes, people are covering their crap heaps with the american flag. looking into it...it seems that it is now a Code that following is voluntary. Except in commercial/advertising, but that doesn't seem to be enforced. if anyone is interested...here is a link to the current flag code and laws. I find it interesting that the flag is never to be printed on something that is designed to be single use and discarded ie. paper plates and napkins as well as the little plastic flags that people like to wave around or stick in their lawns and then toss. This sort of item is enthousiastically used by many on holidays in which we are suppose to be showing respect to the Flag. Edited by mchally 2010-07-02 3:32 PM |

That is good news, now maybe we can fix my constant weight gain and lack of energy among other things. Haha. Ya...I pretty much guessed that. Thyroid disorders are super common, esp. in women. Glad you have a diagnosis and hope that you get your meds figured out quick! (Sometimes its a bit of a stuggle getting the right dose) |

Since I slept in my run will have to wait until this evening. This morning the kids and I are going to make rice krispy treats for the party tomorrow night then go on a hike. Not sure what we'll get into this afternoon. Well, the plan was to leave early today, but somebody scheduled a 2:00 meeting. Grrr! After that a nice long swim, and then pack for my trip You have 2:00 PM meetings on Fridays too? I guess that's proof that there are sadists in the private sector as well! Thankfully it was over in 5 minutes. At the same time it was irritating. I stuck around for THIS?? |
