Ghoulies Christmas Core Challenge (Page 9)

I have heard a rumor that you have a half marathon coming up next month. You may want to run a little before then.

My MIL came home from the hospital yesterday. They did all kinds of tests and couldn't find what was wrong. They put a nitroglycerin patch on her at the docs office and that made her feel great, her husband was a mess after that.

All the men folk are out hunting this morning and my daughter is at an aunts house. My son was here helping me do housework. I saw my FIL come and get the wood splitter. My husband said he may be doing wood this morning. I gave my son the option of staying inside with me and doing housework, or going down to his grandparents and being out in the cold helping to split wood. He asked me to find him a pair of work gloves.

Back to cleaning up around the house. The dogs tore apart something that was stuffed. I want to clean up the big clumps of stuffing before I vacuum.

200 bk: 2:44 something. Felt the burn on that one let me tell you.

200 IM: 2:44:05. Also felt the burn. Good thing is that I'm over 10s faster than last March because my entry time was a real one from last year.

And Melissa is tired...I will probably go back for finals...even though I don't have any finals just to cheer on the team and promote group solidarity...

In the meantime...I plan on eating lunch and watching Love Actually. I have decided to switch my all time fav Xmas movie to Love Actually. "I feel it all around me, I feel it in my toes..." Hahaha. SO Ya.

I will probably end up falling asleep...oh 200bk/200IM, how you have killed me.

Hope everyone is having a good Sat...(I had to think about what day it was there...)...whew...

I am currently sitting at 8,695 feet elevation, about 40F (6C for you Melindy). The kids are in ski school for another 10 minutes them we drive back home. I will try to check in later tonight. Happy Saturday. Oh, almost forgot: fell the burn Melindy, feel the burn!

Well I fell asleep as predicted. Heading back in the direction of the pool now.

7 kids in my house tonight. We made 7 dozen sugar cookies. I'll post pictures later. I also took some video of the kids working on them. I'll post the link when I get that online.

Lots of doings this weekend.  Melindy is swimming like a mad woman and Ann is having fun with kids (can't wait to see pics). Hope everyone else is having fun.

Hopefully the DH and I will get to run away today for a bit. Just gotta get all those pesky chores done.

Day 3 of swim meet *groan* haha. Sunday morning is always rough. The head coach gave a talk this morning on toughness. Be tough! 100bk in a few. Cya later

50fr: 30.76. I won my heat (well I have won all my heats because my entry times are so slow. But that's'the first time I have ever won a 50 fr heat haha

Good morning ghoulies!  I made it to the pool this morning.  Just the 3rd time since IMMOO.  I didn't feel like a complete slug today to that was a bonus

Further patting myself on the back, I also finished all of my Christmas shopping this morning.  And I did it all without having to set foot in a store.  I love the internet

All done the meet. Home/ lie around and be non-productive for the rest of the weekend!

Afternoon Ghouligans. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Just back from my hematology conference. AND, I had my first nude photo shoot this morning. TSA Agent said I looked 'hawt.' jk.   

Have I ever mentioned I really, really, really don't like Orlando? 

I did get a couple runs in while I was in the land of Mick & Minn. Not much, but better than nothing. This week is going to start out busy, but hope to get back on a schedule by Thursday.
