The Ghoulies are swimmin' like the fishies in June!!! (Page 9)

Look at that... two Ghoulies making long-overdue stops by the Village today! Great minds must think alike, huh Katie?

I have most certainly had a long, busy, and at times frustrating winter. And I haven't been able to devote as much time as I'd like to taking care of myself. However, things are much better than they are worse, so I thought I'd give all of you a brief update.

-Job: Crazy busy and getting busier. But, we are "realigning" the way we do things, meaning more responsibility for me. This is stinky in the short term but in the long term it will be great career-wise.

-Family: Kids finished school last week and are moving up to 4th and 8th grades. Grr. DW is still dealing with her fibromyalgia but has made some improvement. This improvement has been most pronounced since we got a new puppy a month ago. Something about having little Ruby around to keep her company during the day seems to be doing the trick. Fingers crossed it keeps up. Also, pics to follow of the puppy when I can resize them.

-Fitness: See above. Still having lots of trouble with consistency but I'm going to do what I can, when I can. I'm learning to be happy with that.

I really have missed all of you guys. I think about you quite often, and anytime I do get to lace up the trainers I hope that you are all having good sessions as well. And I promise that I won't take another 5 month break from here.

I figure no matter what I say it will be taken as "watching a movie"...haha...

Good morning Robin, Ann, Kendra, and Nealindy! Not much to report here on a Monday morning, except that I'm having IT issues as always. Supposedly I'll be getting a new setup soon. We'll see...

Not sure if I'll get home in time to do anything fitnessy but I'll try. I think listening to all the stuff about the local marathon yesterday has helped light a fire under my butt. Hopefully it burns long and slow!

whine for the day. It is HOT, our AC is still dead, I have to work, I still feel yucky and I have a grumpy old men meeting and we have friends in town who are swimming and playing in the lake all day. I feel like a pouty kid stomping my foot and sticking my lower lip out.

I still live here in SD. It was the Coronado Bridge Run which is organized by the Navy every year.

I'm not sure what my next event will be, but I've got my eye on a Tri this fall. We'll see how the next month goes.

Good. Chilling before heading off to Des Moines to drop off my rental bike and heading to the airport. Back to Vancouver. We are planning his trip up to Van. Oh expedia. Haha

Check out Travelzoo. They can have some awesome deals. Vancouver is awesome, Nealypoo will like it. ( I am going to start calling him all sorts of annoying names until he re-learns to type).

Well I've been monopolizing the computer....so he will probably re-claim it as soon as I am gone. Haha
