I did a trail run Saturday and I've been walking like an old man ever since.  My calves are absolutely destroyed from all the side-to-side stuff. 

But it's so much more engaging than running on the shoulder of a road or in a neighborhood...

Hating work.  I hope to find a new job.  Just really, really hate my boss (do as I say, not as I do type of guy) and a couple of co-workers.  Everyday I do "serenity now, serenity now".

I'm surprised she didn't outsprint him. 

Who wants to bet that they ran across the line holding hands???

Cute, but horribly cheesy...

I don't think it's cheesy.  It's LOVE, man!

I vote for kinda cheesy!  Though really love is kinda cheesy from time to time.

There is a great pic of them kissing after crossing the line.

Low to no stress is always the best way to do turkey day.  I may not even make it out of my PJs.  One can always dream!

Time to time?  All the time.  Love is the big Cheddar, but it goes well with wine.

No, no, I don't like it when they whine.  A little whimper here and there is OK but no whining!

Morning TAN

Checked out IMAZ yesterday afternoon. Absolutely beautiful day! Saw TANners going by and had fun cheering...even though they had no idea who was yelling for them. We stood at the last turn before T2 and then moved down as they started the run. Kido looked very focused. Monica was head-bobbing to the music...and we somehow missed Tony (on one of his aforementioned self-texting breaks?) 

My boy wanted to see people "winning" so we moved up to the finish line and watched pros and first AGrs come in. Really enjoyable atmosphere for spectators and athletes (judging from all the smiling through sunscreen and sweat).

Alas, I'm not on The Facebook...

I call it The Facebook because it's cooler...

Sounds like an excellent day!  I was sad I wasn't going to be able to volunteer at IMFL this year but it was the same weekend as a race I was doing.  Nothing quite like watching the mass start from a kayak out on the course.
