My probleom is not enough wine. I'll remedy that. Right now. Wait!!! If wine is being consumed, I want to be there. I had the brilliant idea of putting red wine in my camelback for when I go mtn bike riding. So when I crash, you can't tell the difference between wine stains and blood stains.

Expert 1022 | Subject: RE: 5 for Fighting I have to make a confession. They were serving Sam Adams Beer at the end of the half marathon and I had to toss out half of my glass cause I couldn't stomach it at the time. I hang my head in shame. I did have a couple of glasses of white wine that night though. |

I think it all stemmed from the wrong page being sent to you originally! With luck, our team will get its act together by Christmas. We blame it on all of the heavy drinking, I think because we have two people of Finnish ancestry on this team....Antti and myself!
Hi Max! I couldn't access the google page. It has your email address in the key, so I wasn't able to give the right password. I did see that Naners posted the updated sheet on the main Challenge thread though. I'm at work, so I can't update anything yet. But I'll update it tonight after I get home. David - I think you're the "keeper of the google spreadsheet"? If so... If you allow me to view the sheet, I can d/l it right from Google each week. Then, Naners wouldn't have to collect the data. (She could spend all her time being "team cheerleader" instead.) Re heavy drinking -- is there a problem with that? LOL Sorry for the spreadsheet confusion! We'll get it worked out eventually. (Cat and Donto will be organizing next month's Swim Challenge. They plan on using Google spreadsheets also.) Dee |

Yeah, that's why.... Better than saying we're a bunch of exhibitionists, right???) Here, you post pics of glass bottles. LOL My "lurking" on all the team threads has been interesting. |

Dee Dee, here is the publicly viewable link to our sheet: Team5's Google Sheet I just now realized what might have been happening... On the Publish tab of the sheet (when in editing mode) there was an un-checked option to "Automatically re-publish when changes are made" I checked this box so now anyone who views the sheet should be seeing the latest and greatest. Dee, how have you been importing our sheet into the master one? We could consider just editing the master sheet, but I guess that would require sharing our email address with everyone on the master sheet. I personally don't have a problem with this, but some might. |

LOL...I think the real crazy stuff has been taken down, like the one at EllenG's house where I was dressed in a wig, high heels, carrying a purse, etc. Funny thing, I wasn't even drinking (much). Then there was the one from Mooseman this year where I was working the bodymarking at the shorter race...wearing a pink skirt and matching wig. I never did this kind of stuff when I was younger.

We could consider just editing the master sheet, but I guess that would require sharing our email address with everyone on the master sheet. I personally don't have a problem with this, but some might. Hi David! Naners actually posted an EXCEL spreadsheet on the main Challenge thread. That's what I downloaded. HOWEVER, I can copy the info right off your public google spreadsheet. So why don't we do this: 1) You guys keep doing what you've been doing. (ie: updating your team spreadsheet.) 2) Each Monday, I'll go to the google link that you just gave me, and I'll copy your info. 3) Naners won't need to send any info to the main Challenge thread. (Because I'll get it right from your google site.) This will free her up to work out, cheer for her team, drink, or whatever else is on tap for the day. LOL On occasion, I might lose the link address. (I tried to bookmark it, but I have lots of bookmarks!) If that happens, I'll just come back here and ask you for it again. Does that make sense? And does it sound like a plan? Dee |

Hahaha...I've usually felt pretty safe in the fact that if we lose a challenge and have to highlight our legs for a month, I'm not going to worry much about it. To tell the truth, that was my wife's cast-off sweatshirt, and I dumped it at the start of the marathon. I think they are collected and donated to charity, so somewhere in Washington DC, there is possibly a less fortunate person running around with a Tweety sweatshirt! |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: 5 for Fighting Here is a Challenge update update! Some of the teams had issues with their spreadsheets. So here is an update to the update. I've noticed that some of you are already at 100% of your goals! (And yet, today is only the 14th....) No one gets to record more than 100%. However, you MAY increase your goal. (I'm so nice, aren't I?) Remaining in First Place, both for post counts AND for workouts -- Congratulations Team Twisnibbins! Here are the team standings: 1st place - Twisnibbins 37% 2nd place- Moscateers 35% 3rd place (tie) - Wild Hippos - 32% 3rd place (tie) - 5 for Fighting 32% 5th place - Hard Core Tri Corps 27% 6th place- Turkey Terrors 26% ? place - Vigilantes - no spreadsheet posted yet I've updated the Google Spreadsheet: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=puhAA5NRKHA3l_GNYwG3Qdg Dee Edited by D001 2007-11-14 9:27 PM |

But, I was peter pan for Halloween. So I'm not sure if that actually even counts. Anyway, hi team! I've been sick, but am now feeling better. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to make my running miles, but I'll try my damnedest. How's everyone doing? Anything exciting planned for the weekend?

Weekend plans? It's actually the first Sat in the last three weekends that it hasn't been raining. Seems like a nice day for a bike ride! No other fun plans yet. |

Seems like a nice day for a bike ride! No other fun plans yet. I haven't been posting much here, but I'm alive and well. I'm in West Point, NY right now to watch my brother-in-law play Navy in Rugby tomorrow! Plus, we'll see the Army Tulsa football game. It's gorgeous up here with all the leaves changing colors. We don't get that in TX. No training this weekend, but I planned for that in my monthly budget, and I got my "key" workouts in the for the week (2 tough MS lifting sessions plus a 16 miler!). I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their training. This is my first challenge and it's been a really good way of forcing me to log my training something I haven't done up till now. A special thanks to all of you who drop an occasional "Inspire Me" on my log. I find that kind of cool. Enjoy your bike ride. David/Cletus: enjoy your weekend off, and the fall colors. We don’t get much of that in Hawaii—the fall colors, not the weekends off . Everyone else: Happy training and/or drinking—I’m sending you all warm thoughts from the tropics! |

Champion 8903 | Subject: RE: 5 for Fighting I'm hoping to get in a fruitful weekend too. I have a 5 mile race on Sunday. Saturday will be busy, but I am to get in a bit of outdoor riding on the mtn bike, possibly combined with some indoor trainer hours. Next week should be a good one since I only have to work on Monday and Tuesday, then I have the next 5 days off. Doing a 5-K race on Turkey day. I'm hoping to be darn close to 100% on everything by next weekend!
