It is amazing that the ATV did not fall backwards on me. Quite an impressive site. Second - not so lucky this time. Going down the side of a hill. Hubby went first and had no problems. My turn. ATV tipped with me, rolled over me, luckily left me behind and it continued to go head over heels down the side of the mountain, straight at my hubby, who did get out of the way. I spent the next several hours at emergency. I was very lucky, no broken bones, just a lot of torn muscles. It took months to recuperate from. NO ATV's. BAD BAD BAD. |

LOL I like white wine occasionally as long as it isn't too sweet the party was fun, no wine - I had a vodka tonic - (grey goose, I figured since the company was buying I might as well have the good stuff- lol) the place we were at does not have a very good wine selection, I've been disappointed with the wine there in the past, so didn't bother trying People were obviously in the mood to cut loose! I didn't get there until 6 and it started at 4 - people were really having a good time, it was amusing to watch. They had put out all sorts of
out on the tables, they turned into ammunition for a rubber duck war! It was pretty funny. The biggest mistake I made was going to another bar after that one. I'm still fairly new to this deparment, so since a group I normally don't interact with invited me, I thought I should go so I could get to know them a little better. It was fun, but I stayed out waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to late!!

They thought he'd fractured his skull but the X-ray came back clear. They didn't get home until 2 a.m. and of course I couldn't sleep until they were home. Have to follow head injury protocol which is keep him quiet for 24 hours and just give clear liquids. He has no appetite and is really pi$$ed off at the world which is completely, totally out of character for him. Doesn't help that he had an ear infection and still has a nasty cough/cold and we just had to swap out his medicine for one that tastes ickier. |

Still need something for my daughter and son-in-law, but we won't be seeing them until Jan 19th and we are saving presents until then. Did send the grandsons a few items. They are going to induce our daughter starting at midnight Sunday night, so maybe Monday morning I'll have a new granddaughter. I can't wait to see all of them. But I guess I still have a month to go until I do. |
