Nice run!  It's really cold here too -11 with the wind chill (why do they tell us the wind chill anyway?  it just makes it that much worse!)

Work is SO overrated....

truer words have never been spoken - if only I didn't need the pay check to support my tri habit (oh, and my kids - LOL)

I agree, I just payed another $90 in resgistration fees last night.

I saw that!  that is aweseome

It is but I know myself by the time it's over the cost will have been between $150 to $200.

I know!  When I do the HyVee on in June - it will end up being around $250

Yup I end up buying more things to do the race as well as items at the race.

  • go to the control panel in your blog
  • select goals
  • select where you want it to be placed
  • and then paste the table in

Let me know if this doesn't work

Thank you, thank you, thank you...I got it, good instructions!

Beth,

I'm thinking...really thinking, but the cold has numbed my brain...oh yea!  We don't have to pay for ice cubes...we can stick the beer, wine or whatever outside the door in the snow!

Oh my goodness I can't keep up with the posts! Here is something y'all will get a chuckle at....just remember I am a newbieSmile. Somebody once told me to put a email notification on my race report and I will know when someone replies to it, I saw in one of the mentor groups that you should put an email notification on the thread so you know when someone replies to it so.......I think oh put an email notification on the twisted blister threadSurprised. Oh My Goodness! I think I crashed the server.

I was trying to put the team box in my blog and every time a series of emails comes into my computer it takes up my available memory, and it freezes! I can't get to the thread to turn off the email notification, cause I have too many emails coming in! It's off now. I know the thread will be updated about every two minutes.

That is funny and I learned that lesson right away with our nibbins group several months back.

No running for me today, too cold, fortunately it wasn't planned for today anyways. I have a one mile planned for friday, I am praying for at least a 10 degree warm up in temperature.

SO I went to the pool instead......we have one of those glass rooms for our pool, the roof is all glass and opens. I am cold entering the locker room, I am freezing by the time I get changed into my suit, I step into the pool area and the guards are in their shorts and t-shirts and I think it can't be that bad.......Surprised. I guess it is hard to keep the water temperature up when it is surrounded by glass. I screamed under water when I jumped in, it was so cold. Didn't do anything for my pounding headache, maybe it is what triggered it. It was even colder, breathe after breathe, looking at the snow on the roof.

Maybe the run will be warmer tomorrow!

That sucks because you think an indoor pool would be great. I went swimming last night at our outdoor pool, it was 55 degrees out and the pool wasn't that warm but I'm sure it was better then your experience.
