Extreme Veteran 597 New Joisy | Subject: RE: Twisted Blisters Oh my goodness I can't keep up with the posts! Here is something y'all will get a chuckle at....just remember I am a newbie. Somebody once told me to put a email notification on my race report and I will know when someone replies to it, I saw in one of the mentor groups that you should put an email notification on the thread so you know when someone replies to it so.......I think oh put an email notification on the twisted blister thread. Oh My Goodness! I think I crashed the server. I was trying to put the team box in my blog and every time a series of emails comes into my computer it takes up my available memory, and it freezes! I can't get to the thread to turn off the email notification, cause I have too many emails coming in! It's off now. I know the thread will be updated about every two minutes. |

Extreme Veteran 597 New Joisy | Subject: RE: Twisted Blisters No running for me today, too cold, fortunately it wasn't planned for today anyways. I have a one mile planned for friday, I am praying for at least a 10 degree warm up in temperature. SO I went to the pool instead......we have one of those glass rooms for our pool, the roof is all glass and opens. I am cold entering the locker room, I am freezing by the time I get changed into my suit, I step into the pool area and the guards are in their shorts and t-shirts and I think it can't be that bad........ I guess it is hard to keep the water temperature up when it is surrounded by glass. I screamed under water when I jumped in, it was so cold. Didn't do anything for my pounding headache, maybe it is what triggered it. It was even colder, breathe after breathe, looking at the snow on the roof. Maybe the run will be warmer tomorrow! I went swimming last night at our outdoor pool, it was 55 degrees out and the pool wasn't that warm but I'm sure it was better then your experience. |
