Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) esc - 2008-09-25 8:29 PM Man. No rest for the weary around this place. Fall a little bit behind and there's Dee waving a cattle prod around like we should be afraid of her or something. Maybe I can distract her until I make all my goals. Hey Dee! Look! Shiny red shoes! And fishnets! Yeah. But I'm not the one who gets distracted by fishnets and shiny red shoes. That would be Cat and Mila. Me, on the other hand.... well, how about a nice assortment of shiny new cattle prods? |

Elite 4372 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Why do kids have to get sick in the middle of the night? I'm trying to get to sleep and my middle guy who has a good case of asthma starts to have an attack. Okay, not his fault but still, ugh! He's coughing like crazy so I break out the inhalers. No good. Bring him down stairs to prop him up while he lays down. I lay down on the couch and close my eyes for a minute.... start to drift off and he starts coughing more. Then, yup, he pukes all over the place because he's coughing so much! All over the love seat. All over the carpet. All over the dining room. All over the kitchen. After he's done, he looks up and says to me, "sorry mom." Awwwww, poor guy. (He's 5 by the way) I of course say that he has nothing to be sorry about and take him to get cleaned up. Then I get to start cleaning up the house. All while hubby is sleeping. What is that about????? So, tomorrow I get to steam clean the rug. Yippee! At least the love seat is leather and that cleans up so easy. Now the little guy is watching the USC/Oregon St game. Should get him back to bed but will wait just a bit longer. |

Something about him having to be at work at 4:45 tomorrow morning. He seems to think that entitles him to sleep. Men, such babies! I'll get very little sleep tonight, none tomorrow during the day and still be able to function somewhat normally. Of course I'll drink at least a pot of coffee and probably a few lattes with a double shot of expresso from Starbucks (skim milk of course!). I guess we'll be headed to the doc tomorrow. Fun times! |

We've had it too good with this guy lately. Poor kid has had it tough. In the span of four days a few years ago, he had hernia surgery, was hit by a car and had the stomach flu. That pretty much sums up his chaotic life. Has a hearing loss, ran into a chain-link fence (he needed glasses, at three), and has been in and out of the doc for his crappy asthma. Some kids have all the luck! |

I really want to make them again, but the weight loss thing just ain't happening, and I think maybe fried cream cheese isn't exactly the way to dropping the poundage. Sending good-lung vibes his way (and caffeinated vibes your way). Good luck with the steam cleaning adventures...ick. This is why I declared my apartment a child-free zone. Cat puke is nasty, but generally in MUCH smaller quantities than child puke. |
