kns57 - 2008-07-22 9:51 PM  Im not a fan of tattoos, but I understand they are all the rage.

You keep saying that.  One day you're going to get one to go with your motorcycle.

Jen - I think you're right about that.............or maybe not - LOL!

I like tattoos as long as they're not overdone - not that I'm judging, I just think some people go overboard -

What do you guys think about those on the top of the foot?

My thoughts: Looks very painful and kind of creepy. But I am not a foot person and the last thing I would ever want is to draw more attention to my freakishly large feet.

I'm thinking I may get another one after New Orleans 70.3. People still can't believe I have even one, much less two. And I may change the one on my back, not because I don't like it, but because I've thought of something I may like better.

They kind of get addictive

Agreed.  I want to add more to my back.

I still keep thinking about adding a moon to compliment the sun............

you don't have freakishly large feet!

oh, wait, that wasn't the question

What's on your back right now?

I want to put a cranks set over my current tat on my back.  Maybe make it look like it's dug into my shoulder blades or something.  I like the one I have now, it's where I graduated from and means a lot to me.  But, looking back now, I was such a different person at that time, and the bike has changed me for the better.

Well Nibbs, I'm gonna drink a beer, wash the salt off my bod and go to bed. Must get up early to swim and "run" (notice the parenthesis) in the morning. Now be good. I still remember some of the Nibbs at Night discussions from the winter

I don't mind the top of the foot too much.  They all hurt, but that's temporary.

I can't think of many spots I'm really opposed to.  Mostly the face or the neck.

I have a tribal butterfly on the small of my back.  I want to add some koi and maybe cherry blossoms and chrysanthemums to it.

reminds me of when I used to lifeguard

on the 4th of July there was always a big celebration - one of the main attractions was a beer race

swim a lap - chug a beer

swim another lap - chug another beer

and so on

imagine being a 5'4" (on a good day)  lifeguard watching very large men swimming and getting drunk in the process.........

The course will be a quarter mile approach to the start of the climb  that will go over Indian Mound, turn around at Hwy 13 and climb back to the hilltop finish. The main feature will be the 3.5 miles of elevation gain on a course of 4.2 approximate miles.

So that was in an email today about our local groups next time trial.  So I'm thinking, where in the heck did they find an 18,000 foot mountain in Mississippi?  They sent a corrected email out, it simply means that 3.5 miles of the 4.2 mile time trial is up hill.
