I made it to Seattle very late last night (11:00 pm Pacific).  I almost didn't get here because we sat on the runway for AN HOUR in Richmond waiting for a weather redirect.  Hubby and I had to SPRINT through the Detroit airport and just made the flight.  Lots of fun...

What's important is that we are here.

Yes!  It's quite a change going from Virginia where it's been in the 80s to here where it's in the 60s.  I'm glad I packed jackets and sweaters.  I felt really silly, but it was worth it.

Oh yeah, definitely let me know! I was going to go last year with a buddy of mine, but he backed out and I didn't want to go by myself. That forced me to cancel the trip, which was unfortunate. Ahh! I'm so excited for you! Tell your husband I said "good luck!"

Will do! The first round is tomorrow at 3:30. I think we're going to try to go to the Jonathon Coulton concert too tomorrow night. Should be fun.

Sucks that your trip got canceled. Next year there is going to be an east coast one...although you're going to be in Australia by then I'm guessing.

Crazy double post...

I'll use it to say that I went to a giant REI today.  It was so awesome.  I got a really cool new bag for work.
