PAX = Penny Arcade Expo.  Penny Arcade is a video game webcomic.  They decided to have a convention around playing games and hanging out with people who want to do the same.  It's now a big deal.

Omeganaut = Every year, they have a competition called the Omegathon.  They randomly select 20 people to participate.  There are 6 rounds of games and the winner gets a crazy cool prize.  This year is a trip to Japan and money and stuff.  My husband is one of the people this year.  He doesn't think he'll win, but I kinda hope he does.  I want to go to Japan.

Should I ask what...

a) Pax is?

and

b) and Omeganaut?

PAX = Penny Arcade Expo (www.penny-arcade.com) Omeganaut = A participant in the big competition @ the Expo.

Found it... ummm right....  The second one totally makes sense...

The first one I needed the internet with... I means its obviously games but....

Hi Nibbs!!

I made it to Seattle very late last night (11:00 pm Pacific). I almost didn't get here because we sat on the runway for AN HOUR in Richmond waiting for a weather redirect. Hubby and I had to SPRINT through the Detroit airport and just made the flight. Lots of fun...

What's important is that we are here.

Are you freezing???? Looked to me like it's cold up there....

Yes! It's quite a change going from Virginia where it's been in the 80s to here where it's in the 60s. I'm glad I packed jackets and sweaters. I felt really silly, but it was worth it.

Oh... and of 'course you've got the best coffee in the world to keep you warm... No wonder everyone is always "sleepless in Seattle"

Yes.  I went for a walk with my friend to get some.  It's so good.

Crazy double post...

I'll use it to say that I went to a giant REI today. It was so awesome. I got a really cool new bag for work.

Did you check out their Mtn Bike course.... I heard it's indoors!!!!

It is!!  They also have indoor tracks to try out hiking boots, a stream to try out water purifiers, etc.  Two floors...

They are building one in my area, but it's not going to be anywhere near as huge.

Some REI's also sell firearms... that would be dangerous... selling firearms to razorback pigs...

They might try to shoot the tiger at the zoo

This one is huge.  I am glad we don't have one this big...it would be expensive.

Funny thing is that when it comes to that sort of stuff, I usually revert to Campmor... the deals are MUCH better than getting my rebate....
