Hi Beth! Has it been a good day? yep, overall it's been a good day - the first day back to PA without my family is always a little rough
Hang in there... its not for that much longer! I know! it's just a little tough some days I thought it would get easier, not harder - weird! My husband and I lived apart for about a year before we were married. I think it was harder every time I visited. |

I could and should read the whole thing - but I figure, I'm talking to the expert......... nah thats what Im here for - you set two goals: Goal 1: number of stages (a stage doesnt count if its less than 15 minutes) Goal 2: Total distance or time so, each stage is a bike workout? |

Exactly... its slightly different to last year where it was stages only! I added a distance/time goal to make it a little harder to reach 100% |

Thanks Jen - I thought I needed to add something... I will re-state the ban on talking about the Stages for 24 hours too so we can avoid a repeat of last year! I might do a 'team update' or something at the end of each week or something instead of daily updates or something like that... Im thinking about leaving the updates out of my training log this year too... |

I think people got over-excited about things on both sides. Kinda got blown out of proportion. |

I think people got over-excited about things on both sides. Kinda got blown out of proportion. Well the other alternative is to do it the next day my time so you have to jump a day ahead in my log if you want the previous days action... Ive had requests for me to do - and others say they cant visit my log in July so Im torn. I know Im very obsessive about the Tour, and I know thats a lot for people to take in sometimes but hey! a girl needs interests... its just the same as people who are obsessive about their training schedules! |

I love the banter, someday maybe I'll understand enough to join in Im sure you will pick it up quick... just watch a little and ask questions Im always happy to help... its my favourite bit about the tour - getting others interested in it! Thats part of why I loved the challenge last year... it gave people who 'didnt get it' (for want of a better expression) a team and riders to follow which made watching a bit of the event much easier! |
