kimmitri408 - 2007-10-31 8:12 AM LOL Terri you saying it's green makes me think I'll pick up the southwest one I'm still here and trucking along. This week has been weird. I had some dental work done yesterday that is making it really hard to eat solid foods today. So I didn't really finish my points yesterday b/c I just didn't feel like eating anything. I took some meds and went to sleep. Today, I made stove top and had that for breakfast. I guess I'll play the rest of the week by ear since I have to go back for them to do the other side today

ewww, dental work - no fun

what's stove top?

mmmmm stove top! I have not had that since I was a kid I think. Stove top is box stuffing that cooks up pretty quick, it is not the best thing in the world for you but I don't think the points are that high. I just screams comfort food for me, man now I want some lol.
I am going out of town tomorrow for an extended weekend vacation so no WI in for me this week. Probably best anyway, lol. I have had a tough time staying OP for some reason. I have not written anything down since like last tues, oops! I have been eating good food and I have probably stayed in point range. We are going up to the hill country of TX this weekend to visit some friends and do so wine tasting, I cannot WAIT!! I need to get outta here BAD!!!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!

Well it is only a 3 hour drive so it is kinda like a mini-pre-anniversary vacation LOL. Since we will probably not do anything for our anniversary this will be it.
Beatle Juice is downstairs handing out candy at my office LOLOL. Pretty darn funny.

Happy Halloween all

Today is the last day that I work until 4:00. Starting tomorrow I get off at 3:00 and it's my first swimming day. Excited!!!!

Yep, them eggs were green Not awful crayola green, though.

Food confession. Husband and I went out to dinner last night since our regular date night (tonight) we expect to be kind of busy (trick or treat, anyone?). I got a small order (6) of buffalo wings and I sucked every drop of everything off the bones! Those were the best things I've smacked on in ages! LOL I think it helped cure my building urge for greasy, spicy, fattening fried foods. So now I'm back to my regularly scheduled program.

Great job, Terri!  You are so smart to give in to a craving when you really, really want it but just going for a small serving.  If you don't do that every once in a while, the cravings become obsessions that take over your every thought.  Whenever that happened to me, I would go WAY overboard!!  So now I give in, but in much smaller doses.  The food tastes even better that way.  Laurie

Laurie, I couldn't remember the last time I'd had fried chicken. It used to be a bi-weekly meal. It tasted like Heaven. I did have hesitation at one point worried about what it would do to my stomach today - since when I gave in and had french fries, they about killed me - but so far so good.

Just popping in to wish everyone a HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I'm still in studying hell getting ready for my certification exam on Friday. I don't usually get any trick or treaters, so I didn't even bother buying any candy. For those of you who do have candy in the house, try not to let it win.

Terri - Awesome that you had a small amount and enjoyed it! That takes some serious control

B - Yeah, stove top isn't the greatest food for you at all, but it's soft, so that made it a winner! My appt was cancelled b/c I couldn't make it (two words: DC traffic) so I feel tons better today...but I get to look forward to Monday going back. I am stocked up on stove top, yogurt, bananas, and applesauce for the following day or so.

My training program is going really well and I'm enjoying it, which is awesome! I'm eating my APs this week, and I have noticed a little change on the scale in the downward direction. So that is VERY exciting! Hopefully it holds for Saturday WI

So, popping in to toot my own horn. I haven't had any candy in 3 (today is #4) days!  Thought about it, but didn't do it.  I forgot that I could do that...

WTG everyone - I was reasonably good on the candy, although I've just had a really hard time being motivated to write stuff down this week.

My WI is tomorrow - we shall see

I hope that your certification exam went well, Melissa!

As for everyone else, nice job on the candy.  I have allowed myself a miniature pack of M&Ms as "post workout" carbs... just 100 calories, and packed with carbs.

In case anyone is looking for good recipes to make over the weekend, a friend was kind enough to point me to some ideas:

Hi everyone!  I remember those disgusting WW recipes.  The narratives are a riot!

Just did my WI.  Down 4.2!  Don't know where that came from, but after being at 191 for about five weeks, I am now 187.4.  My total lost is now -35.6, so I got my gold star.

I can't say that I did anything different this week.  I even ate some Halloween candy -- not much, but I didn't deny myself either.  I ran more than I walked during my run/walks, so I think I'm getting the hang of the whole running thing.  Who knows why?!?  I'll take it!!!  Have a great weekend, all!

Laurie

well, I'm down .8 from the last time I weighed in 2 weeks ago.  I remembered that this is my week to hold on to every drop of H2O for dear life...so, the fact that I lost was a bonus.  I've done really well this week w/ avoiding candy and getting some workouts in...over all, it's been a pretty good week.
