This was my road bike. The accident was on my mountain.

Its a new fluid trainer which is MUCH harder than what I'd been previously riding. The shoes are new Sidis, new cleats. I didn't get out of the saddle for the intervals. I had an easy gear but its just much harder to push than my old mag trainer was.

Gotchya... be sure to double check the positioning of the cleats because often when they are even slighly misaligned they can cause all kinds of weird issues but my guess is that you were tweaking your ankle to try to compensate for the added intensity of the new trainer.

I hear Sal may need this if he doesn't get his swim in.

OMG - I want one of those... That would definitely discourage folks from wanting to share a lane with me.

kns57 - 2007-12-13 8:40 AM Morning nibbs. I get to go and get fitted for a night splint for my PF. Joy joy. But if it helps, then I am all for it. don't have to be at work until 5pm tonight, so I have a day of shopping ahead of me. My son finally sent me a list for xmas for him and his girl. She and I are total opposites I didn't even know where to start with shopping for her. Me - natural hair, no make up, 5'8 1/2, only tatoos are radiation marks, pierced ears only, BT junkie & Tri challenged, librarian Her - Pink highlight when we met, blue now, Tons of make up, I think her eyes were done up like butterflies last time I saw her, 5 foot even, tatoos-more than I can counts & who knows where, Multiple piercings all over, exercise - whats that, model on the internet Not judging, just pointing out differences between us. I actually do enjoy her company when they visit.
Hee hee hee...This story reminds me of one my sugar daddy told me after his parents met me for the first time (10+ years ago). I have a tattoo on my upper outer thigh...you can't see it unless I'm wearing shorts or a short skirt - otherwise, I appear outwardly "normal" - natural hair, little makeup, etc. Anyway, I met his parents in the summer, we had a lovely visit, and then we were getting ready to leave and I was sitting in the car wearing shorts. His mom peeked her head in the window to say something & saw the tattoo... Called sugar daddy up later that night and said they really enjoyed meeting me, and they didn't think I was one of "those people" - you know, the people who have tattoos? It's funny what perspectives people have...and a good thing my in-laws have never seen my brother without his shirt on...he's really one of "those people"! My other brother called me last night (the straight-laced one, who isn't one of "those people" - cracked me up because he asked for money towards a Roomba for his X-mas gift...I don't know why it's funny - but my "little brother" buying a robot vacuum makes me fall over laughing.

LOLOL!!

how're the monkeys today?

I can remember my mother wearing one, and her friends too. No wonder we didn't want to hang anywhere near them at the pool.

LOL, "those people"

My friends all wish they had been flies on the wall when I first met her. They are positive that my jaw hit the ground. Little do they know that anything my son does or brings home no longer phases me that way.

If I gave you her name and you looked it up on the internet linked with the word model, you would get a very interesting artistic picture of her. Do I dare share it?

Okay, now I'm feeling old... **I** had to wear those goofy swim caps when I was a kid... they always had wild flowers, or weird rubber thingies all over them.

Come on, I know you other female 40-somethings probably had to wear these beauties, as well...

I'm well over 40 and luckily I don't recall having to wear a cap with flowers on hit. Plenty of caps with ruffles and the strap that went under your chin (which I wouldn't mind now since I have a big head and my caps are constantly sliding off)

Good afternoon, Nibbins.

I'll stick to my lovely latex caps. I've got tons since they give them out at all the races (OWS). No chin strap for me, thank you very much.

I actually went for the lycra cap - a little more expensive, but they seem to provide better protection
