Augsburg College players and fans were still in full-out celebration mode 10 minutes after Auggies senior running back Jason Potts found an open hole and ran 23 yards to the end zone, giving the home team a 30-24 win against 20th-ranked Wartburg College in double overtime. For Augsburg, Saturday night’s win was the sixth in its last eight games, helping lift a team that started 3-20 under coach Frank Haege to a 2-0 start and status as an upper-division team in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Regular 70 | Subject: RE: Auggies Team Thread Okay team, I went ahead and cut Chadsgirl from our results and goals. Her last log onto BT.com was 8/29. If anybody objects, let me know. But, maybe next month for her. That bumps us way up on our percentage complete. And dependent on Sparco's new goal, which he hasn't officially reported to me  , I am carrying him at 187% complete of his goal. So, our percentage complete is totally off. I also added in the miles that Global ran that I had failed to report. I have no idea how to post/format charts, so I broke it out real simple like. It was hard to guess how much my morning sickness was going to slow me down. The end of this challenge is also going to be the end of the first trimester! |

Here's the plan for wrapping up the challenge. 1) We will report numbers this weekend the same way we have so far. Get your numbers logged by Saturday and Team captains will send me results on Sunday. 2) Standings will be posted Monday morning by noon. 3) SUN - TUE will be the last days of our challenge. Get your numbers posted for those days by Tuesday night. 4) Team captains will send me the results from Sun to Tue on Wednesday. 5) I'll report the final challenge results on Thursday. I will definitely not make my goal of 150 miles....I am very sorry about that....I decided I am not going to run the marathon I had planned on 10/12 because I have had many problems with my running over the summer and I just don't feel well enough prepared to run it...I feel ok about this decision and my running in September has greatly improved.....however, after I decided I am not doing the marathon, I cut back on my mileage.....currently, I have about 115 miles....hopefully, I will get another 20 miles in before the end. good luck to everyone with achieving your goals for the month and beyond! (What am I saying! I have a few more myself - which I will get done - I won't let you down Okras!) * Remember that 100% is the highest you can go - unless there is a tie for 1st; then we'll look at additional miles run over the goal. * Remember, log your miles by tomorrow night (Tuesday), Captains will report on Wed, and I'll post final results on Thursday. * Please look over the spreadsheet for mistakes or omissions. Thanks!!! * BTW - there are some running ANIMALS in this challenge. I'm impressed.
