I'm looking to put some ITU legal aerobars on my road bike. My goal is to add another position without changing my position. Any recommendations on a good set of bars? I've been looking at Vision Tech Mini clip-ons but having a hard time finding any reviews on them.

I am in the exact same situation as you are. I have narrowed it down to The Vision mini TT or the Profile Design SL+ DL. I have experience with PD products and like them because they seem to be infinetly adjustable and the arm pads are super comfortable. My impression of the PD SL+ DL is that the extensions seem to be longer than the Visions. The Visions, on the other hand,  have the right extensions for what I am looking for but I have heard many complain about the arm rests being both uncomfortable and lacking the adjustability range of the PD's. My understanding is that you can replace the pads on the Visions with Cee Gee aftermarket pads to provide more cushion. I don't know if that helps or not. Maybe others can chime in who have owned these or similiar brands.

I installed PD Jammers on my road bike (Cervelo RS) last year. They are very adjustable. I found a comfortable position without changing anything else on the bike. They have worked for me on many a long ride including a couple of metric centuries and several triathlons. They provide an alternate hand position on long rides.

I got them used for $25 from my LBS, so I wasn't out that much if they didn't work. So far they have been working out fine. I will most likely leave them on my road bike even if or when I go get a TRI bike.

I've used or have experience with the Visions, PD T2+DL, PD Jammers and a few homemade ITU legal aerobars. My favourites at the Visions with the T2+DL's as a close second. I do like the adjustability of the PD products and run T2's on my tribike but had no requirement to adjust the Visions on my bike or on the bikes of my athletes who used them.

However, my experience is limited to drafting situations so I have no long periods in the aerobars but rather 30s-3:00 sitting at the front of the group and then falling back while on the hoods/drops.

I've been training for a little over year and a half, and I've done two sprint-length events, so I'm not highly experienced. Anything I say should be taken with a pound of salt!

I've used both the Syntace C2 and currently use the PD T2+. I've used my current set-up for rides as much as 55 miles and I find them very comfortable. I like the adjustablity, mostly how I can turn the extensions to fit my hand position. I don't like the plastic computer mounts that PD makes, but I ended up putting my GPS elsewhere and it works fine.

Thanks for the replies. I think I may give the Visions a try.
