kwiens - 2010-01-19 1:10 AM Mine is in my unheated detached garage and no that is not a fan in the background, it's a HEATER, and yes, I use it, lots. It gets cold here. It helps if the car is still warm, it heats the garage (a few degrees anyway, but anything to keep my toes from going numb.)And all the tools, they are a constant reminder of all the other things I could be doing or fixing after my bike ride, that I just never get around to. This works to keep me riding longer.

OK, that's about the most insane impressive thing I've heard on here. You're one tough and determined guy. I'd be firing up the snowblower and a couple of BBQ's for about an hour in there before I'd be riding in that garage in January.

This is the FROG! (used to stand for "Family Room Over Garage", now it's the Fitness Room Over Garage". Where the treadmill and trainer are, there used to be recliners! Great room with great views! So much better now then when the stuff used to be in the dark nasty garage!

Here is my garage.  From left is the Wall of Fame (I don't actually wear a lot of my race shirts, just tack them up), bike repair gear, stretching/lifting mat (which I dirtied up nicely chain-cleaning the MTB apparently), T.V. with Xbox 360, bike on Cycleops trainer.
In the aerobars, the Xbox controller fits nicely between my hands.  Mostly its DVDs (currently season 2 of Big Bang Theory).

While I'm on the trainer I can either stare at my P2, the TV, or out the window.  Not too shabby.  After IMLP, I plan to paint the walls and floor this August and make it look nicer.

B2673AD, dude, that view is priceless.

I really like the race numbers on the wall...I'm going to have to add that to my torture chamber. Nice set up.

The FROG is sweet!

Man, I don't see having beer on tap in the same room as the drainer being a bad good thing.

This is the worst form of "Torture" I have ever seen.  No drink servers or personal assistants?  Pure HeLL!

Have you guys been reading of people falling into depression and contemplating suicide after seeing Avatar?  That's how I feel after going through this thread!

Some of you have some seriously sick setups!  I'm crammed into the corner of our guest room. Leave me in peace as I wallow in severe jealousy!

This is my "training" room.  The only "torture" part of it all to me are the books!!

No trainer, no rollers, no sweat mat/carpet, no fan... I call shenanigans! The only thing you're doing in there are 12oz curls!

I have no treadmill, just the bike and room.  It used to be just the HT room, now it doubles as the torture chamber.

Room 1

Room 2

Lots of junk laying around - typical.

The room works well for torture, though.  I built most everything in the room (and including the room itself) except the electronics.  Speakers, screen, subwoofer are all hand crafted.
