Subject: RE: TH3_FRB cycling accident Thanks for all the encouragement. I'm going to try and come back slowly but honestly this is 95% a conditioning issue now. The fracture was the only damage I had aside from the trauma from the impact. There wasn't really any damage to the joing that requires lengthy PT like knee, shoulder, elbow surgery. I had my elbow reconstructed with new ligaments about 5 years ago and that was a rather slow process to get ROM back. All the swimming I did kept allowed me to keep most of the flexibility and ROM in my hip while the bone had time to fuse. At this point it's primarily a muscle strength thing for my leg. I did notice today at the gym that my right calf is noticably smaller than my left. |
