Sigh.  My tratorous sister is starting the PHD program at UT in the spring.  Sigh... to disown or not to disown...

My parents have a church key that plays the UT fight song. They're alums. I'm not sure why, but they despise Penn State. So here's a picture of me spanking the Nittany Lion (that should get things riled up)....

In the late 50's Pontiac punched out their 347 cubic inch V8 to 389 ci. Then in 1964 they introduced the first "real" American muscle car...the GTO. Stuffed into the GTO was a 389. My Grandfather worked for Pontiac for 45 years before retiring in 1980. My dream car is is a first generation GTO with you guessed it...a 389 ci.

Gina, I know exactly how you feel. I went to NC State and the junk you see in stores and on kids paying homage to the community college in chapel hole is disgusting. What really is bad is that more than half the people you see wearing the garbage did not go to school there, they were just sucked up by the mass marketing. I can give you a ray of hope however. Mack Brown at UT came from chapel hole, could not beat a good team while there and will never win the big one at UT.
