Subject: Need New Running Shoes-Update

I just wanted to thank everyne for their suggestions.....I went to Luke's Locker today and got a new pair of purple sneakers.

The best past is, THEY ARE REALLY FAST!!!!!!!!!

I got home and ran 3mi in under 30 min, and I have never come close to running sub 10min/miles. WOO HOO!!!!!

Ahhh... not true.  As a child, when I needed a new pair of shoes and more than one choice was available, my father could always tell which pair "looked faster' and would therefore be the better choice.

.... of course, I later learned that the faster pair was always the less expensive one.  :-)

So is purple the new red? I know that pink shoes would make me run real fast. That way I wouldn't have to listen to the comments from my buddies.
