Up early had a piece of toast and off to the race

Jogged some did some high knees and some butt kicks to stimulate the muscles.

Comments:

Ran this race to meet up with some of my Texas Independence Relay team members. They didn't show up. I shouldn't have been running thi race coming off the RNR marathon last Sunday.

Legs felt great at mile 1. They felt horrible after that. Went too fast. Should have taken it easy, but that never happens.
What would you do differently?:

Not run a race. I should have just gone on a training run without my hrm and watch.

Warm down:

Got some water and had the massage guy stretch my hamstrings. They were banjo string tight.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The marathon 6 days ago...

Good little 5K. Good way to get out in the cold and run. Believe me it was cold...

Nice job, especially coming off a marathon. Cold is cold, but it's an even colder feeling around WRL. Give your friends some grief for abandoning you - (first round's on them).
