Comments: I've never run more than 10 miles...I had a 9:30 pace through 7 miles but the leg pain took over. My cardiovascular condition is fine but the legs hurt too much to keep up the faster pace. So, I'm proud of doing a 1/2 marathon even though the time was slow. Conditions were ideal, temps in the mid 60's with gusty winds & sunshine. ![]() Post race
Warm down: Limped back to the car...left foot very sore. What limited your ability to perform faster: Leg pain & foot issues from past basketball injury. Event comments: This is a really nice course through the tree canopy lined streets in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville. Last updated: 2004-11-25 12:00 AM
