Comments: For my first 10K I was very happy. I didn't think I would be able to do the run in under and hour and successfully did that. The temps were in the 30's-40's. I actually dressed a little warm. What would you do differently?: A longer warm-up and some stretching. Also for future races mroe speed work! Post race
Warm down: Walking cool down. (Need to do more stretching!) What limited your ability to perform faster: I trained well would like to start building in more speed work..I am really slow! Also my legs were really tired I am not sure if this is due to running the first mile quick or if it was fatigue. I want to play around with hydration and sleep to see how this affects workouts. I know I don't drink enough water. Event comments: This race averages about 800 participants. The course is fairly scenic being right on the lake.
