Hey All,
I have only done one tri, but am planning on doing more. 2007 was a year of change for me. I finally did what I said I would do but never did or kept up with. I started running (again). I did a learn to run clinic in March-May. I was so out of shape and could barely run a minute. I did my first Tri in August and in October I ran my first HM and have done a couple small races since. I am training for another HM in March and after that I will be training for a couple sprints and maybe an Olympic. I would like to some day complete an HIM then a IM. I have given myself till 40 to do so (I've got a few years).

Welcome Frumpolicious (great name by the way )!!!  You've definitely found a great site and sounds like you've got a great start going too.  Be sure to take advantage of the workout logs here too.  They're great for tracking your progress and you can even import training plans into your logs so all you have to do is look at what you have planned for the day and get to it.

Sorry if I sound like a commercial

Great work on barely running a minute to your first HM.  That should set you up well for your first Olympic...assuming you are getting some swimming in too.  Good luck on the upcoming HM and the rest of the season.  Welcome.

Welcome frumpo! You'll find this site a great resource on you journey to your goals.  Are you East caost or West coast?  Welcome either way and good luck in the upcoming season.  I noticed you haven't added anything to your training logs...

I am West Coast (Ok Valley). I haven't added anything to my trainning logs cuz I'm still trying to figure out how this thing works...lol.. At the moment i am running 3-4 times (sometimes more) a week. 6km + and on sundays 10 + . Some of my running peeps are trainning for a marathon so I'm training with them. This Sunday we are running 23km , should be interesting since the most I've run is 21.1... I need to get into the swim thing again but i find it hard to go swimming when it's cold ... which is silly since I have run in monster snow and -14c -... I need to get a shirt that says "Suck It Up PRINCESS!!!" LOL

I just got back from Elliot Lake, Ontario.  I went on an ice fishing trip and what an awesome experience.  No training of course,

but trudging through the snow had to count for something.
