Comments: It was a nice event. I ran easy for the first four miles, then pushed it a bit for the last mile, which may have been close to a seven minute pace. What would you do differently?: Warm up a bit more before running the race. Post race
Warm down: wandered a bit with Fred, and then Carrie, then we jogged to the car to get our sweatshirts before returning to the finish to see Alicia H. What limited your ability to perform faster: Carrie's advice not to "race." Last updated: 2008-02-15 12:00 AM

Woke up a lot during the night; drank too much coffee on Friday. Ate oatmeal and one cup of coffee in the morning. Sat in the car a bit longer than I planned; plan was to run for around 15 minutes before the race to warm up and get in the time that was on the schedule, but things didn't work out.
Stood around in the cold while they called for people whose ages were wrong. Did take a jog around the block to warm up a bit.
