Comments: There were a lot of people lined up for the start - it was slow going for the first half-mile. Things finally opened up and I was able to pick up the pace. The course was nice and flat and clear of snow. I really suprised myself with my pace - much faster than I anticipated. I even had enough left at the end to kick it up a notch the last mile. Got up and dressed and out the door by 5:30. One hour drive to Indy. Met up with my mom and brother then headed over to the race site. Ate banana and PB&J about 2 hours before race start.
