Has anyone on here ran the Green Bay Marathon?  I'm thinking of flying up to do it and I'm looking for info on the race and places to stay.

TIA

Ahem...ALL YOU CAN EAT brats n beer.

Really though, GB is one of the best put on events.  You wont be disappointed if you make the drive/fly up here.  It was rated in the top 10 marathons back in 2006 (I think) by RW Mag.

This is the closest hotel to Lambeau (Start/Finish).

I live in GB and this will be my fourth GB marathon. Every year this event is getting bigger and better. The weather can be unpredictable in May so bring warm clothes. Any questions you can email me @ [email protected]

I thought the 38F and wind was perfect for beer and brats.  Of course, by that time I was hallucinating....

Great place to PR or BQ.  Pretty flat and not crowded at all.

Hi
I'm new here and a transplanted Ohioan. The expo at the GBM last year was terrific and I PR'd in the half. My advice is to reserve your room ASAP as there have been a lot of events going on that weekend the past couple years.
I'm not sure if you've been here before. Reserve part of Sat to tour Lambeau. If you have young family-there is NOTHING open Sun morning so get a place w/a pool. There were some inflatables for kids mile 20 so your family can hang out there for pizza and to cheer you. Have a great time, I plan on it!!
