Dude, you need to go back and check up on your Trail Blazers. They've cleaned it up. Brandon Roy alone is worth it. I've always heard it said, and I repeat it often: "The fans care more than the players." It's true, and starting to get out of hand.
As soon as Darius Miles is off the roster, then we can talk. Once that happens, you can call me a "fan" again, but even that's limited to the Blazers, because they've finally gotten it right (again ) after so many bad years. And yes, they've made HUGE strides with the team and in the community. Somebody finally "got it" over there.
But the league overall is still a mess and as much as David Stern would like to think that their media saturation with "Where Caring Happens" is going to solve their problems, it isn't. The hole that they've dug themselves into just keeps getting deeper. The Zach Randolph's of the world are still out there, making their millions and laughing all the way to the bank.
