Comments: Light turnout, I assume because of the weather threat. But I still had a good run, and I won Grandmasters!!! What would you do differently?: Run training has been light, and this is really just the start of the running season. I guess I need some more specific 5K training if I intend to challenge my PR. I was over a minute off this time.  Post race

I had an upset stomach this morning (nerves?). Ate half a bagel with some peanut butter, but that didn't seem to help.
Crazy weather day. Got up at 6. It was supposed to storm, but hadn't started yet. Very shortly after I got up, though, the sky opened up. Didn't rain for very long, and there wasn't any thunder or lightning. It quit raining, and didn't rain again until after the race was over (fortunately).
A little light stretching. I considered a warm up jog, but with my stomach I decided I didn't want to chance it.
