Comments: Don't know my breakdown ranks as they messed up my split times. However, my overall watch time was accurate w/ the races. What would you do differently?: May eventually work on swimming a faster few hundred then settling in to distance myself from others. For now, I don't believe I will change a thing. Transition 1
Comments: I put shoes on and run in them. The few seconds I would save w/ shoes already clipped in, isn't worth it yet. I think I will invest in a good trisuit to eliminate a few steps. What would you do differently?: Practice, practice. Bike
What would you do differently?: Nothing. Seemed to push just the right amount for this distance. Probably would have been a bit hard for oly distance though. Transition 2

Comments: Felt good for me. Pushed the pace faster than I ever have in a tri setting. What would you do differently?: Think I will start running with water bottle/camelbak. Have trouble drinking from a cup on the run. Never seem to get enough water, despite feeling hydrated coming off the bike. Post race
Warm down: Cool off in lake and stretch. Refuel with fruits and gatorade. What limited your ability to perform faster: Might make some minor gear changes to decrease transition times. Overall, limiter is that I'm new to racing and have more base building to do. Will try a massage in the future. Event comments: Will certainly do some of this race series again. Breakfast about 2 hours before. Not a real heavy one. Warmed up with brisk walk to lt jog then some strides. Gentle stretch.
