Raleigh Grand Sport 2003 barely used

Is this bike still for sale? What size is it? I noticed you posted when you first bought it and were getting ready for your first tri. Has the bike been good to you?

I am a beginner and looking for a good entry level bike. My local bike shop has the 2004 Raleigh Grand Sport for $459 new, but I don;t know enough about these bikes to know what to buy. I saw your ad and it interested me since this is the exact same model I looked at today, only ayear older.

It's actually sold, but yes, it was a good beginner bike and priced below similar bikes. I wanted to get something that wasn't too much of an investment in case I decided I didn't love riding...well turns out, I do love it and fell in love with a different bike.
