Comments: About mile 5, I remembered that I don't like this course. The hills are shallow long rollers; not my strength. Then about mile 5, it started to sprinkle. About mile 7, when everyone had passed me, it began to rain for real. The road is rough enough that I didn't worry about slipping much, but the crosswind and the rain made me a bit cautious. What would you do differently?: Get stronger on those long hills. I still need to work on cadence. I tried to keep it above 75. This summer, I'm working on keeping my cadence up and steady and letting my gears do more of the work. Post race
Warm down: Not much as I was freezing and needed to get out of the rain. What limited your ability to perform faster: My natural slowness. Last updated: 2008-05-09 12:00 AM

We didn't have enough clothes for this one. The cool temps and rain came on unexpectedly. A jacket would have been nice.
Rode down to Rock Dell and turned to go up the little hill. Then back to the church. About 2 miles total. Probably should have done more.
