Swim
Comments: I was in the lead pack going into the first buoy (250m) and then someone stood up in front of me, and thus I crashed into him (problem with following feets) and I managed to get a good mouthful of water for which caused me to stop and catch my breath. I lost the feet, lost the pack and therefore was stuck with staying with the second pack. Managed to get out of the water in 13 minutes, but figure if I would of kept with the first group I could of done a 12:30ish time. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: The bike course was FAST. I managed to use my climbing abilities to put distances on the competition. Road a 40:40 on a long course which isn't bad but I really thought I would split at 38ish time. For some reason I felt faster than my actual time Transition 2
Run
Comments: good run, not my best part, being off running for 2 months does hamper your abilities to run any faster, but I felt strong and didn't really worry about my hip-flexor. I thinking I had a 22min 5k in my, but I was worries about pushing to hard and hurting myself. I knew that this race was a swim/bike with a cool down run. I know if I get back on the track from now till Nationals, I'll have a 44min 10k in me. Post race

Canada
Overall Rank = 15/85
Age Group = M30-39
Age Group Rank = 8/17
Bike: Did a few hill repeats and rode the 3/4 of the lap course. Included a few acceleration and picks-ups
Run: Did my warm up routine :ABC's, and then a few accelerations back to transition.
Swim: 10 min warm-up, a few sighting drills and finger drags
