Sorry to hear you missed us. We actuually started late, which helped us pick up some others who arrived a little late.

I want to thank everybody who came out. I was a great ride. All of you did awesome, especially on Sugarloaf and Buckhill Road.

Next time we do San An, it is much closer and probably just as challenging.

Sounds like you guys had a good ride, im curious to as to what pace you kept ,  how many miles you logged and how many people were in the lead pack,  also how far of a drive is clermont from teasure island florida?

We held a 17.5mph average and everyone stuck together.  After some of the climbs, we stopped to check our directions and let people catch up.  We had a 3:25 ride time, but a 4:00 bike time with the stops, over 59 miles.

The traffic wasn't bad because you are mainly in the countryside but, one thing that we didn't realize was there is no where to get fresh bottles and, after an hour, any fluids you take with you are going to be hot.

San Antonio is a lot closer to TI, since it is just up I-75, but Clermont is out I-4 almost to Orlando.

Like Gary said, we'll be getting people together for a long ride in SA around the beginning of August.

I didn't go, and I feel sorta like a worm. I got back in town late the 3rd, spent the 4th with my wife and 3 kids and just didn't want to get up at 4 to get my stuff together and drive 2 hours to get there.... Too early and too far and I waffled and sold out.
